High Stakes Casinos is an independent review site for high-limit players at US state-regulated online casinos. We rank operators, test their high-limit games and banking, and explain what actually matters once real money is on the table.
What We Do
The core of the site is a single, honest ledger: our ranked list of high-roller casinos. Every operator on it holds a live license in one of the six US states with legal online casino gaming (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut and Delaware) and is scored on the six pillars set out in our rating methodology. Around the ledger we publish practical guides to high-limit games, VIP and loyalty programs, banking and fast payouts, and safety and licensing.
Who We Write For
Most casino guides are written for the recreational player. We are not. Our audience is the high roller: the player who needs high table maximums, VIP live-dealer tables, withdrawals that clear quickly on large sums, and a loyalty program that returns genuine value. That focus shapes everything we test and how we weight it.
How We Stay Honest
We earn a commission when a reader opens an account through some of our links. That is how the site is funded, and it never changes a score or a ranking. An operator cannot pay to climb the ledger, and where a casino has a real weakness we say so in the review. Our full approach to independence is set out in the methodology and disclosed on every page.
Our Position on Regulation
We only cover US state-regulated casinos. Offshore sites market heavily to American players with crypto payments and outsized bonuses, but they sit outside US consumer protection: if an offshore operator refuses to pay a large win, the player has no recourse. For a high roller carrying a five-figure balance, that risk is not worth taking. Our reasoning is set out in full in the safety and licensing guide.
Play Responsibly
High stakes make responsible-gambling tools more important, not less. Every regulated casino lets players set deposit, loss and time limits, and offers self-exclusion. Our responsible gambling guide explains the tools and the support available. You must be 21 or older and physically located in a state with legal online casino gaming to play. If gambling stops being fun, confidential help is available 24/7 at 1-800-GAMBLER.
